A homepage that draws you in
The homepage opens with the restaurant's tagline and a full food image, followed immediately by the table booking form — visitors can reserve a table before scrolling.
Hospitality & Food / 2026
A restaurant website where the food leads — and every page ends with a way to book a table.
CafeSehion is a cafe and restaurant. We designed a four-page website — Home, Menu, About, and Contact — with table booking, a structured menu, a video section, and a map, built around warm food photography and an amber visual identity.

Project overview
The site covers Home, Menu, About, and Contact. The homepage leads with the restaurant's identity and a table booking form. The menu presents dishes from starters to drinks. The about page tells the story. The contact page gives directions and a way to get in touch.
In restaurant websites, food photography does the selling — the design's job is to get out of the way and make the booking easy.
The challenge
Restaurant websites have to balance atmosphere and function. Too much decoration and the booking gets buried; too much function and the experience feels transactional. The site needed to feel like the restaurant — warm, inviting, unhurried — while making it easy to reserve a table or browse the menu.
UX approach
Each page is structured to let visitors soak in the restaurant's character and then act — browse the menu, learn about the team, or book a table.
The homepage opens with the restaurant's tagline and a full food image, followed immediately by the table booking form — visitors can reserve a table before scrolling.
The menu page is organised into categories — starters, mains, desserts, drinks — with photography alongside the dishes, so the menu is something to browse, not just read.
A popular dishes section on the homepage highlights signature items, giving visitors a reason to decide before they have even seen the full menu.
The contact page includes the booking form, opening hours, a map, and direct contact details — everything a first-time visitor needs to plan their trip.

UI and product direction
The visual language takes its cues from the restaurant's physical space: dark wood tones, amber and orange accents, serif headings, and food photography given room to breathe.
Our process
We scoped the four pages — Home, Menu, About, Contact — and agreed the key sections each needed to carry.
We defined a warm, food-led visual identity: dark wood palette, amber accents, serif headings, and food photography as the primary design element.
We designed the homepage and menu page first — the two highest-stakes pages — focusing on the booking form placement and the menu's browsability.
We designed the About and Contact pages, including the table booking form, map, and contact details, completing the four-page system.
Execution
The design covers all four pages of the site, with a consistent visual identity, a table booking form, a full menu structure, a video section, and a map — everything a restaurant website needs to present the experience and convert visitors into bookings.

Impact
The completed website gives CafeSehion a warm, character-rich online presence that matches the restaurant's identity and gives every visitor a clear, easy path to booking a table.
Closing perspective
Restaurant websites reminded us that in some categories, the content is the design. When the photography is strong, the designer's job is restraint: clear layout, warm palette, and a booking path that never gets in the way of the food.
