FOEx is a mobile inspection management platform designed for industrial environments. The app helps inspectors and safety officers manage machine inspections, complete structured checklists, scan equipment QR codes, access reference material, and collaborate in real time through a clean enterprise-focused mobile experience.

This was more than a checklist app. It was about organizing field inspections clearly and efficiently.
Industrial inspection workflows often involve scattered information, manual processes, and communication gaps between teams. FOEx was designed to centralize inspection tasks into a structured mobile experience optimized for field usage.
Our role focused on UX research and mobile UI design, including inspection flows, dashboard organization, checklist structure, QR scanning interaction, and communication experiences.

The challenge
The real UX problem
The challenge was not simply creating forms or checklists. The experience needed to organize complex inspection information into a mobile interface that felt clear, accessible, and efficient for inspectors working in real environments.
